I have FF 3.6.7 installed. For browser compatibility testing, I need to install FF 2.x as well. perhaps multiple versions of 2.x. how can I do this without removing 3.6.7?

You can do a custom install of other versions and install them in a separate directory. Do not start Firefox after installing, but launch the Profile Manager to create a new profile for each version and create a desktop shortcut to start that version of Firefox with their own profile.
