I didn't back up my old computer. I have my oild hard drive in an enclosure and wish to transfer my bookmarks from my old firefox to my new computer's firefox..please help

You need to copy the places.sqlite file to your current profile folder, replacing the one that is already there. For details on finding your profile folder, see the profiles article.

Tony e..thank you for your response..I'm not very computer literate..I know I have to copy the file , I just don't know the steps to do it

In your file manager (by default that will be Windows Explorer), right-click on the places.sqlite file in the old hard drive and choose Copy.

Go to the profile folder on the new drive, right-click and choose Paste. You should get a dialog box saying the file already exists, choose the option to replace the file. Firefox must not be running when you do this.
