None of my add-ons/ plug-ins will show up in the toolbar after installation; sporadically they will do but then disappear the next time I open firefox. I have tried the various solutions suggested in Help to resolve this but to no avail.

I've tried disabling and uninstalling all my add-ons and reinstalled them to no avail. There seems to be no pattern as to when they'll appear in my toolbar. I've tried using the various solutions outlined in your official Help guide to add-ons which has resulted in nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox too which didn't work either. I have tried numerous suggestions made on the web which didn't work.

You can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

Yeah I'd tried both those solutions, neither of them worked. Thanks though, appreciate the help here.
