I have shut down FF after setting privacy to "Never Remember History" When I start back up it has changed back to "Remember History" . Never had this problem before. I recently updated to 3.6.12 is there a problem with this ugrade?

This can be a problem with saving prefs.

You may also have an extension that changes that setting.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
