I do not have my sync key for Firefox Sync how do I recover it?
I am trying to set up Firefox Sync on a new pc and it is asking for my sync key which I do not have. Is there a way to reset or recover it?

It would have been saved with other Saved Passwords in the Firefox installation you set your Sync account up with.
You can inspect the "Sync Key" on the computer where you first installed Sync via "Tools > Options > Sync".
- Click on the Manage Account button to display more options, then click on the "My Sync Key" link.
Thank you but I added Firefox Sync after installing Firefox and I do not use the save password feature in Firefox. So it looks like I will need to wait until I get home to find my sync key from looking at the second reply.

I can't inspect the sync key on the computer where I first installed sync, becaause the hard drive died and I had to install Linux instead of Windows. I was able to save my user data; what folder would it be in? Can I figure it out from recovering a profile?
I followed the above instructions and there was no Sync Key link only a Recovery Key. Is the Sync Key the same as the Recovery Key?
Yes.
