I am trying to download Firefox to use as my browser. Every time I try to download it, it says "mounting failed". I am trying to do this on an old G4, which is running MAC OS 10.3.9

Sorry but the last Firefox release that 10.3.9 could support was the old EOL Firefox 2.0.0.20

Early on in development of Firefox 3.0 Mozilla initially had 10.3.9 as the minimum that could support but it turned out it was not possible as 10.4 was earliest.

If you really want to still use Firefox 2.0.0.20 which was released back in December 2008 then see. ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/mac/
