I am trying to access the Air Force Portal via a .mil site and need to use a common access card reader that is installed on my computer. Can I make Firefox recognize the Windows based CAC software? I tried the site several times with Firefox and finally resorted to going back to Internet explorer, where it worked the first time.

Getting Firefox to work, can be easy, and can be difficult. I've found that IF you already have it working with IE, then following #5 on https://MilitaryCAC.com/firefox.htm takes care of the problem on "most" computers.
