Foxfire will not "shut down" when I close it. When I try to reopen it, it gives an error: Foxfire is currently running.

When I close Firefox, the application stops as usual. However, if within a couple of minutes (longer), I try to restart the application, it will not open. An error message appears stating the operation is open and must be closed before it can reopen. I must got into Task Master (Windows Vista-Home Premium) and end the process. The Application page is empty.
