I cannot get the SpeedBit Video Download toolbar to load in the home page

I have down loaded the SpeedBit Video Downloader today and tried to add in the toolbar as instructed - by right clicking & customizing "Add New ToolBar" ,but the toolbar is not showing up .

SpeedBit Video has compatibility issues with Firefox because SpeedBit has not updated their product to be compatible with Firefox in quite some time -- they claim their product works with Firefox versions 3 / 2, and yet Firefox is now version 8. Firefox version 3.6 was released on Jan 21, 2010. That should tell you something about how much they care about updating their product.

You really need to update your browser version, and your plug-ins, in order to maintain your browsing security. Once you do that you can use a plug-in like Video DownloadHelper to work with video downloads. There are other plug-ins like it available at
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/photos-music-videos/?sort=rating.
