How can I save my open tabs when I close FF4. FF3 gave me the option to save and quit when closing.

I use multiple tabs every day and they are for the most part the same tabs on Fire Fox 3.6. When I closed my FF3 at the end of the day I had the option of saving my tabs so the would open again the next day.

On FF4 I no longer have this option. Now it just warns me I'm closing 7 tabs. No option like before.

One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

  1. Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Locate the preference browser.tabs.warnOnClose, if its value is set to false, double-click on it to change its value to true
  4. Repeat this for these 3 preferences browser.warnOnQuit, browser.warnOnRestart and browser.showQuitWarning

THANK YOU!!!!!! This fix my problem and everything is great. The (browser.showQuitWarning was false). Change it to true and now I have my save and quit option again.

Thank You TonyE
