After upgrading to 4.0, the system has significantly slowed down on loading pages. It looks like bots are dominating the loading process. Now when I click on any hyperlink, the screen goes white for nearly 1 minute, and unresponsive. Then it returns to the same screen where the hyperlink works.

I find the new version of Firefox unusable and want to return to 3.X. How can I go back? 4.0 leaves IE as the only workable alternative.

Well, I found a download site before I received this and got back to the old version, with much relief. I can't believe Mozilla released version 4 as it is obviously vastly inferior to the 3.X versions. My loading time with V. 4 was significantly slow, sometimes freezing the system. It had odd quirk such as when you clicked on a hyperlink the screen flashes white and freezes for minutes. I sould suggest before you go live with a new version you at least make it equal to or better than previous versions. V.4 is to V.3 as Windows Vista is to XP.
