Probably caused by an extension that you have installed.

I am not aware of having installed any extensions. The last thing I installed was Firefox 4 which caused my system, when in Google Search, to freeze. I have Removed Firefox 4. Reloaded it and the same problem occurred. I then removed it and reloaded Firefox 3. Now this problem has begun to affect G mail. Any ideas would be welcome! I wondered if it was Google trying to persuade me to use Chrome!
