Why can I no longer save tabs for later viewing, for instance when I start the computer I wish to view all the tabs I had open when I closed the computer
No details is necessary. Although I certainly wish to know whose bright idea it was to switch position of the "open link as a tab" and "open link i new window" options when you press the right mousebutton.

No need to answer this, I've already installed the older (and obviously superior) version.
In case you or someone who reads this thread still wants to know:
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session. There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox (Tools) > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.
