locking as a duplicate - https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/816487

New to FF4, and finding that it has digressed considerably from FF3.x in handling of bookmarks. While I didn't care for how difficult it was to get to my list of bookmarks in FF3.x (which was the main reason I switched to Chrome at home on my iMac), they've made it even more difficult in FF4. Why? Is Mozilla trying to discourage the use of Bookmarks for some reason? Or maybe they just don't know how we use Bookmarks?

In any case, very strange. I strongly suggest that FF go back at least two main versions to how they used to handle Bookmarks, which was simple and easy and intuitive. No wonder they're losing market share to Chrome. If Mozilla keeps going this way, in FF5 we'll have to go to a friend's house to use their computer to access our Bookmarks!

Found how. Got the Bookmarks tool to work, finally, after many tries. See my post in this forum, "Bookmark Tool Disappears".

Still not the best setup, but at least it works.
