My home page on Firefox only has been changed to somoto. I can't get rid of it. Have run scans for malware and viruses with more than one program and has eliminated any bad stuff. I cannot find the word somoto anywhere in my computer. My regular home page comes up in IE and Chrome.

This worked for me:

open add/remove programs and uninstall every toolbar you see that you don't know exactly what it is. The trojan or virus ... whatever it is can hide itself in another name. it happened to be "burn4free" toolbar when i downloaded burn4free a few days ago. I uninstalled it, restarted my computer upon prompt, and VOILA! no more annoying homepage. Like i said, it may be renamed so make sure to do some trial and error if you're not sure which one it is. GOOD LUCK! -sam (samuel.jay.brown1@gmail.com)
