How do I kill your page advertising plug ins? The one that pops up everytime I open Firefox.

Updating your Plugins should make that page go away.

Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_24 for Mozilla browsers is an outdated plugin.

The MetaStream 3 Plugin r4 plugin also has been reported to cause this.
