WHen I try to open Firefox a menu box comes up asking me what I would like to use to open it with

WHen I try to open Firefox a menu box comes up asking me what I would like to use to open it with. Also when I try to use add/remove programs in the control panel or even try to open security it tells me the same thing about lost of missing files.
