hotmail not working
Firefox doesn't remember my Hotmail username and password. And logged in, FF doesn't open my mails. It's probably a microsoftbug programmed on purpose for FF-users. With IE it's working well.....

The login.live.com site uses JavaScript to create the login form and the Firefox password manager doesn't work well in such a case.
Firefox may offer to remember the password (it does for me), but you can't make Firefox fill that name and password.
Form fill can fill the name to make at least that easier.

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page.
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you need to sign in once again.
Cor-el, you didn't completely read the original submission by boetlink. There is much more to the problem than having ID's/email addresses/passwords remembered (I personally am not having this piece of the problem).
The biggest part of the problem is that once logged into Hotmail in Firefox we cannot read or do anything with our email. Please address the solution for this issue.
I've cleared all my cookies and browsing history numerous times and it makes no difference.
I can still read my emails in hotmail just fine in either IE or Google Chrome but I much prefer to use Firefox. This is so annoying.
