Hi I was earlier installed and used SEO Quake add on with Firefox 5.0.1 . Recently I have to reinstall firefox 5 browser again due to some other reasons.

All my add ons were removed when install my firefox5 this time. Is it possible to restore those old add ons?

I am not able to install SEO QUAKE add on as Firefox 5 do not support this tool. I wonder how it happend becuase I installed this tool with the same version browser earlier and using this add on without any problem until yesterday.

Please suggest a way to do this.

Thannks and regards Salman

This can be a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache, extensions.rdf) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is an update.

Thanks for your reply. However, Your reply is not answer to my query. Your response did not solve my issue.

I asked two things and none was answered.

1. How to restore add ons in firefox? 2. Why SEO QUAKE download is not allowed for firefox 5 version now? I was using the same add on for the same version firefox until yesterday.

Hope you understood my issues.
