Firefox 6 has crashed, and corrupted a script file in Applications Data. The result , everytime i try and start Firefox, it says its already running, but it isnt. I have tried rebooting system, removing firefox ,reinstalling and still the problem exists.

It would appear that the corrupted script files are sessionstore.js or prefs.js. these i found in Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/2xewu6aw.default folder

You may also have a lock file in your default folder after a crash. Then Firefox will say "already running". If you delete the lock file then Firefox should start again.

Firefox is already running but is not responding

Check and tell if its working.
