Every time I upgrade to the recommended version of FF it takes a short while for my add-ons to become compatible - however with V7 it has been weeks and still no compatibility with Yahoo tool-bar , which I use on my notebook using V6!!

Do exactly what is shown below, only if you are running Windows XP, Vista or 7.

1. Go to start menu on bottom lower left of your computer. 2. Click on Start. 3. Go to Control Panel and click on it to open. 4. Find where it shows "uninstall programs." 5. Look for Mozilla. 6. Right click on Mozilla and it should uninstall it. 7. When shows Mozilla is removed, reboot your computer. 8. When your computer reboots then download Firefox 7.0. 9. Download from "mozilla.org" direct

This should work just fine now. Hope this solves your problem.

Remember, if you ever install or uninstall a software program or hardware you need to always re-boot your computer if using Windows Operating System.

Firefox 7.0 is not released yet as you may have gotten the 7.0 b6 update if you are on the Beta testing channel due to having installed a Beta version and not a release version.

It is not Firefox that is made compatible with the thousand of third-party extensions like Yahoo toolbar, but Yahoo! does the work to update their toolbar.
