Every time there is a password on page and I enter something a balloon pops up asking me if I want to save the password. This annoying balloon pops up covering my roboform identities. I'd like to get rid of the balloon, but not disable Firefox from storing password when I choose.

Thank you

Go to Tools -> Options -> [Security] and uncheck the box next to "Remember passwords for sites"

Not what I asked. You ignored "but not disable Firefox from storing password".

Thanks for trying.

Don't know any preference to set that up. Probably would have to be done with an extension.

I guess I'll have to wait for version 8, probably about a week and a half:) I'll just continue to curse at it, keeps my blood pressure in range.

Thanks

If I want to save a password for a particular site I should be able to click a simple icon or something similar. That obnoxious balloon must go. I do want to save some passwords but not for every site I visit. I don't need to be reminded by a pop-up that needs to be clicked to make it go away. Please fix. I otherwise love Firefox.
