Ho do I add new bookmarks at top of list in a folder?

When you add a new bookmark to a folder it's added at the end of the existing list. Is there a way to make Firefox add it at the top of the list, instead?

I searched for a setting in about:config, for an extension that handles this and used google to find other tips, but couldn't find anything. This need is not important for most of users, for sure, but it becomes if you have tons of bookmarks like me. Does anyone know how if there is a way to get this?

I already put a look to this extension, but didn't notice that it has an option right for what i'm asking for. Thanks cor-el.

It should be nice if Mozilla would include this possibility natively, anyway (choose if new bookmarks are added at top or at bottom).

Presumably if you have tons of bookmarks you are aware they may be placed in nested folders and even the default firefox bookmarks library gives many sort options including by date added in ascending or descending order.
