I cannot save files by right clicking on them and then save as. I've tried everything suggested online and even uninstalled completely and reinstalled but I still have the same problem. Can you help?

I cannot save files or images in firefox. When right clicking and then save as, The download box shows that it's downloading but when I try and open it from there or look in the download folder the file is missing like it was never downloaded.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
