After updating to FF 8.0 I no longer can view YouTube or any flash websites. I have the most recent Adobe Upgrades for all of the programs they offer. I have all of my add-ons updated.

Do you see the Flash plugin in Tools > Add-ons > Plugins and on the about:plugins page (via the location bar)?

What does the Adobe test page say?

Yes I do and all of the tests I've performed are all updated and installed. Also, for some reason I just found out that Yahoo! Mail doesn't work either. So it may not just be flash. I can't compose, reply, or open external links from Yahoo! Mail.
