Possibly you are in Full Screen mode toggle out or in with "F11".

If not in Full Screen mode (for example you can resize window by moving window borders), make sure you have your toolbars selected.

  1. Use "Alt+V" to bring up the View menu
  2. Toolbars
  3. Select "Navigation Bar"

Once you have your navigation bar back , if you have a problem with Back/Forward buttons mentioned see /questions/897008
