Since the 'new' Firefox self-installed when I open bookmarks the window is gigantic. I'm not going to move my cursor across the entire monitor screen to select a bookmark. There's a huge piece of blank real estate in the middle. The bookmark window used to be narrow and concise and easily used. If I cannot fix this I'm moving to Safari. I've been using Firefox for at least 10 years. Help!!!

That can be caused by having some bookmarks with a long title in the main Bookmarks menu.
The width of a column in the Bookmarks menu list is in current Firefox versions automatically adjusted to fit the bookmark with the longest name.
You can check the names of the bookmarks and make the longer ones shorter.

Hi

Thanks for replying to my issue regarding the bookmarks window. I went through my bookmarks and deleted any that were really long. It didn't make a difference. This issue started as soon as a newer version of Firefox was installed. It was 8.0 Any ideas on how to resize the window when it opens? It's really an issue. It's a large as Firefox is in my monitor.
