I get this error when I try to install the Bing Search Engin. It is not in the list of engines when I go to Manage Search Engines and I CANNOT click Restore Defaults. I used to have it but then after one of the random updates it just disappeared from my search engines. Please help!

Hey oks10,

It sounds like the Bing plugin might have been corrupted. I would bet that it's still installed, but not working. Try removing it from the \searchplugins\ folder in your profile folder.

I'd close and restart everything after you are done, then try installing it again.

This fixed it. THANK YOU. It was beginning to drive me crazy not being able to search being without actually having to go to bing.com.
