I keep getting reminders to update to Firefox 8.0.1 but get stuck at the "contacting server" stage. This has happened regularly for a couple of months.

The automatic update screen comes up and when I click on "update Firefox" nothing happens except for the "contacting server" message. No message to quit Firefox or anything...
