Had a porn blocker add-on or plugin pop up during Firefox launch. It would let me decline installation. Any know problems with fake/malicious add-ons?
When staring Firefox a large screen appeared for installing some sort of porn blocking add-on or plugin. It didn't appear to have any way to decline installation. I'm suspicious that this may be some malware, etc. Are there any reports of such a thing? I clicked on it and it didn't seem to install and proceed to browser properly. How can I remove it and get back to base browser? I'm running MAC Leopard OS.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
