FF crashed on me 8 times yesterday. It even crashes in safe mode. I have reinstalled the latest version, but in general I keep everything up to date. My plugins were up to date, except for Microsoft Silver, which I have since updated.

I have gone through the following pages and completed the steps, yet it continues to crash:

Try to uninstall (trash) and reinstall a new copy of Firefox.

You can also try some maintenance.

Try to repair the disk permissions:

Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "Library > Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).
