e.g. when opening a new tab, I can't enter an url in the navigation box at all, neither can I enter any text in the google bar. Problem also occurs if I open a new tab from bookmarks, like youtube - I can't enter any text in the youtube search bar. There is no problem with clicking on links in other already opened tabs though. The problem came up when I updated Firefox to version 10 and I'm sure that the new version causes the problem. How can I solve that?

Hello RuneScape user,

I have a solution that might fix your issue. If it doesn't fix it, it will definitely make the issue occur less often. Just follow these steps:

  1. Enter about:config in the address bar.
  2. Accept the warning by clicking on I'll be careful, I promise!
  3. Search for dom.ipc.plugins.java.enabled and set it to true.
  4. Restart Firefox.

I hope that fixes the issue for you, let me know if it helps. :)
