These ridiculous version numbers are out of hand.

I had selected to never check for updates on Firefox 10. Well 5 minutes ago Firefox went and updated itself to v11...what?!!!

Sorry, do you need help figuring out how to turn off Firefox updates? Note that if you do this, your version of Firefox will become unsupported as soon as a new version of Firefox is released, and will consequently not receive security and stability updates.

Strugee, my issue is that I specifically selected in the menu NOT to update and firefox went ahead and updated.

Should I file a bug report or is this "normal" operation.

I have addons that I can't afford not to have working and these constant updates have caused issues in the past.

This ridicilous versioning system that has been taken by firefox is going to bring it down.

I was reading some other posts and will be switching to Firefox ESR.

Hi, exactly where did you select not to update? Also, in recent versions of Firefox (since Firefox 10 or 11 I think) most addons should default to compatible.
