 I have seen this problem before but on different Hotmail servers. I believe this error is on Hotmail's side and they are reporting an outage on the specified server above. I would say it will be back online and running fine within 4 hours, but I cannot guarantee that as I am not part of the Hotmail team and have no idea what they are doing to the server. If the problem persists past the 4 hour mark just update this forum post and I will look into it again.

Hi, I have Firefox 11.0 and I have since yesterday, the same or similar problem - I can log but Hotmailwebsite does not react further. I've also tried using Internet Explorer browser 8, and it shows the following error, I copy:

I've already my problem written above, but I had forgotten to say something very important: on my wife's computer hotmail web size works very good !!! So it seems the problem is connected to my computer?!?

 As I can see this is a similar problem, but I have not seen any other server outages for Hotmail. Maybe it is a problem with the website? I just tried Hotmail and it seems to be working fine with Firefox 11 and Hotmail. I would suggest waiting the 4 hours as well, it may just be a simple problem that is on there that they are working on.

Try to clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

• Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

• Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I had tried everything you wrote but don't worked. Than I I have uninstalled Firefox, reinstalled again, nothing helped. (Before a new installation of Firefox, I was completely cleaned Registry). Then I thought that perhaps some disorder in the windows, so I dealt windows with TuneUp Utilities 2012: after that the hotmail side worked.
