I'm trying out Firefox-Aurora (version 13). How do I get "NewTab Page" to show Recent Bookmarks? "Most visited" is useless and of no value to me.

I also set "NewTab Page" as my Home Page. And being able to show Recent Bookmarks would be very useful. Is there a way to make NewTab Page show recent bookmarks?

You can't change the content of the New Tab page.
The New Tab page (about:newtab) is created via JavaScript (chrome://browser/content/newtab/newTab.js).
You need to use an extension if you want to see a different new tab page, but I don't know of one that shows Recent Bookmarks.
You would have to use the Bookmarks Toolbar with that smart folder on it or use the Bookmarks sidebar.

You can change the content of the new tab page by clicking and dragging the icons from your bookmarks toolbar to where you want them on your new tab page.

Yes, you can drag specific bookmarks or history items in one of the nine slots on the about:newtab page, but you have to do this yourself if you want to see something different then the default most visited websites.
