After standby mode: Any links does not open in a new tab. Checked Tools/Options/Tabs and it shows that last option (when open a link in a new tab switch immediately) is unchecked. I tried to check it but I could not. If I close (reboot) Firefox it works fine and Tabs setting are fine - every thing is checked. Sometimes after standby mode all tabs frozen and I cannot go to any open tabs. Again, I need to close firefox and open it again, then it works fine.

Hi smonas,

You might want to take a look at How to fix preferences that won't save. It might be that Firefox can't save this setting. I'd also try starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide and the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article as well.

You could also try Creating a new profile.

Hopefully this helps!

Try to toggle the File > Work Offline setting on/off to see if that helps.
