I followed safe mode exit directions, but it continues to come up in safe mode. Help!
I have done everything suggested: exited, restarted my computer. Someone suggested that safe mode had been added to the Firefox shortcut. I right-clicked the icon and went to properties. The shortcut there reads: Start In: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox" I would appreciate ANY suggestion on how to get OUT of safe mode! It is getting very frustrating!! Thank you!

Did you also check the target line in the properties?
Thanks for the quick response. the target line reads: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" No "safe mode" there. Could it be anywhere else? I'm hoping there's another answer out there that works!
And as to removal of imesh: The standard control panel removal doesn't work! imesh has gotten trickier! When I hit remove, it sends me to imesh's website which asks for a reason why I am removing. I read from someone else online that after that pane (pain?) the removal doesn't work. These two situations feel like a setup for frustration! I wish Firefox had a telephone number to call...!!
Do you get the Safe mode start window with the choices?
Make sure that you do not have the Shift key pressed when you start Firefox.
Cor-el I appreciate your continuing assistance! It's good to know that someone out there cares enough to help!!
Yes I do get the window with the choices. I've tried to follow the directions, but, I get confused as to what imesh "is" and which one to check. I've tried checking "disable all add-ons, but nothing seems to happen when I click "Make changes and restart." The imesh still remains.
I have never started Firefox with the shift key pressed...
You can try to reboot the computer to see if that makes it possible to start Firefox in normal mode.
I've rebooted...and it still stays in safe mode... Is this becoming as frustrating for you as it is for me?!! Thanks again.
