The weirdest thing: I'm trying to type a note in Facebook, and when I click off a tab to look something up, then click back to the FB tab, half or all of the text I've type is gone. A similar situation is occurring with my Gmail tab--I delete or read messages, click on another tab, go back to Gmail and the message I've deleted is back in my inbox (or the read message is marked as unread again, without me manually making that change). This is going to be a HUGE problem when I start posting items in my web CMS. Anyone else notice this, and how do I fix it?

Hi,

Please check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is okay, you can do a Reset Firefox on the old profile via Help > Troubleshooting Information.

Reset Firefox.
