Please check out this thread from the other day and see whether anything in there helps: Flash doesn't work in Firefox 13.

Maybe you need to check the firewall to make sure that the Flash plugin isn't blocked.

Flash 11.3 may use a direct connection and not access via the browser (plugin-container).

Add the following line to your mms.cfg file located in:

  • Windows 32bit: C:\windows\system32\macromed\flash
  • Windows 64bit: C:\windows\syswow64\macromed\flash

ProtectedMode=0


You can use softwares like Notepad or else.

I Uninstall RealPlayer and it all works now.

I had the same problem, tried to uninstall real player when I came across another program I had installed some time ago called real alternative or something like that.

I uninstalled the "real alternative" and all my flash material came to life again!!!

The same thing happened to me! It happened when i installed the latest update to Adobe Flash Player(11.3.300.257). So i uninstalled and reinstalled Version 11.2.202.228 and now all my videos play again!

Uninstalling RealPlayer worked for me too. Thanks for the suggestion!

I don't understand how to put this change on. I've opened file:///C:/windows/system32/macromed/flash/mms.cfg and written on Notepad, then what? Need step by step help, please!
