when i stay on another tab for a long time and then goes back to the facebook tab, firefox will open the tab for about 5-10 seconds...it looks like a lag

if i use firefox and open tabs, the moment that i go back to the facebook tab, it would take firefox 5-10 seconds to open the facebook tab.it's really annoying

That is most likely caused by Firefox releasing memory used in that tab to minimize the memory that is currently in use.
This includes memory that stores the DOM tree and that tree needs to be rebuild to allow navigation scrolling and clicking items on the page.
On complicated pages that have a lot of elements this can take a few seconds.

tnx for the reply..but it only happens if i access the facebook tab...it never happens on any other tabs that i have opened..i tried my friends laptop and its not doing the same thing..:(
