Firefox 15.0 cannot load gmail (says "waiting for accounts.google.com" or "waiting for accounts.youtube.com") but Safari can.
I have tried clearing my cache and cookies and my entire browsing history and this does not work. I have also tried resetting my firewall which does not work either. I have no problems accessing my gmail from other programs such as Safari. I am using Firefox 15.0 and I have a MacBook Pro osx 10.8.1

If you go directly to https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail does the page load? (Not that it's very convenient to have to do that...)
Can you check on whether you are blocking redirects.
(MAC) Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General
(WIN) Firefox or Tools > Options > Advanced > General
Please uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
You can check the network.http.* prefs on the about:config page and reset all bold user set network.http prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu -> Reset.
You can also try to disable SPDY by setting the network.http.spdy.enabled to false on the about:config page.

Hah! - Finally - I have been plagued by this problem off and on and was not aware of the spdy usage. So - could access service url for my google account - but could not load gmail. Set: network.http.spdy.enabled;false
and now can load gmail - in fact - I had to use chrome to open the email you guys sent me to confirm my mozilla login after registering. I'd say this should be fixed because that sounds, I don't know, kind of *wrong* don't you think? firefox 14.0.1 mac os x lion
looks like firefox is downloading updates so not sure if a fix is among them
