I am accessing a website through firefox that gives me a realtime pop-up. That pop-up needs to pop-OVER all other applications that I am running on the computer. This way I can access the pop-up immediately. Is this possible?

A script can give that window focus, which depending on your OS settings, may be successful in making that window the "front" window on the system. This thread has an example for Google Calendar reminders: I want a new popup to maximize the browser.
