When replying to or starting a new topic in Aimoo forums (http://www.aimoo.com/), the cursor is missing from the reply box. I have asked in Aimoo support forum & they have suggested it is an issue between Firefox Version 17.0 and the Aimoo forum software.

For your information, I tried replying using Internet Explorer & the cursor shows correctly.

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this matter.

Which Firefox version are you using?

If you aren't using Firefox 17.0.1 then please update to that version as it may fix this problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Thanks for your reply. I already have version 17.0.1 & have tried safe mode & it made no difference. Any other suggestions please?
