Frequently but not always areas of the Firefox window turn black. This includes menus and data entry fields. Sometimes a page opens OK but goes black as soon as I begin to scroll using the mouse or the scroll bar. At random positions in the scroll the page reappears but the problem persists. If I run Firefox in SAFE mode, the problem goes away. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox with no success. I have also tried disabling plugins without success. Also, I have used the "reset Firefox" option without success.

COR-EL Thanks for your help! Disabling hardware acceleration improved but did not solve the problem. Also disabling WebGL seems to have corrected the problem.
