How do I remove VGrabber or other bad programs (that don't remove easy with unistall)?
lots of phony sites(like you don't know that) for removal of this sort of junk.
where is some GOOD through info step by step for removal?
I tried regedit and search and remove everything with vGrabber, rebooting etc, but it is still defaulting as my browser.
why isn't some big company like Microsoft or Google writing nice easy to use REAL removal tools?
Since these bad programs hijack users AWAY from Google, shouldn't Google be interested in defeating them?

Hello SquidVicious, if you have it in add-on list see: Disable or remove Add-ons
you can use : SearchReset add-on
also find in about:config all entries with VGrabber and delete it.
thank you

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
