I have a mouse with extra buttons, firefox has autobound a button to "back" in the browser. How do I free this button from this binding?

I have a Logitech ball mouse with an up arrow and down arrow button.

I use the down arrow button for my chat client (mumble).

Whenever I press it while browsing on Firefox, it is bound to the "back one page" function.

I would like to remove this binding.

you can adjust such settings within the logitech mouse driver (setpoint)...

Setpoint does not change it. I set the button to Generic. But Firefox still has it bound to "back one page." I can put it to unassigned or disable it, but then it doesn't work with my chat client.

X-mouse looks like it might help, but i was hoping to solve it with first-party software. (via Firefox itself, or via my mouse side.)

Does anyone know in firefox where I can change the binding?
