How can i export bookmarks to change browser, Firefox keeps crashing, cannot even open it?

more options

Hi, I want to export all of my saved bookmarks, as I want to delete/uninstall Firefox. It just crashes all the time, but now I can't even open it, it says "Mozilla Crash Reporter" and "Restart Firefox" of "Quit Firefox". If I click restart I just get the same message. How can I save my bookmarks to a different browser, or just a html file before removing it?

Some thoughts:

(1) You're running Windows 8? I'm not sure which version you have, but there is a problem with version 19.0 on systems with a certain graphics adapter. The solution is to install 19.0.2 over it, or roll back to 18.0.2.

To get 19.0.2, you can download from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop

To get 18.0.2, you can download from the link in this article: Install an older version of Firefox.

(2) Could you try starting Firefox in Safe Mode? If you hold the Shift key while launching Firefox, extensions and certain custom settings will be deactivated. If Firefox works in this mode, it could indicate an add-on problem, or a graphics card/driver issue.
