how do I view an email message source

How do I view an email message source? Someone sent me an email showing my email as the sender. If I try to block the sender I am afraid I will be blocking myself. I am also afraid that whoever sent that email will send to all of the email addresses in my address book. the people I know will think that the email came from me when it came from someone using my address I.D. How or what should I do?

Unfortunately, with the right kind of spam generating software, the sender can fill in any name and address they want in the "from" field. I'm not aware of any way to stop that kind of spoofing.

Of course, you want to be sure that your account is secure and the message didn't actually come from your account.
