I'm running MS XP on my lap top. I have down loaded the newest version of FOXFIRE to see if that would solve the problem. No luck. Still loosing all of my bookmark Icons every time I shut down or reboot my CPU.

I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do with all of the code you sent me. I hope i've assumed that when I hit the download it downloaded it to my system? If not, I'm not that computer savvay, but I do follow directions pretty well. ALSO, when I downloaded Firefox I got "Yahoo" instead of the Google that I had before and really liked. Any help there? Your assumptions about all the the various running parts of this CPU were right on with the exception of having Google!

I guess I had better sign off and try looking up any answers latter on this morning. I'll try and reboot and see if the info you sent worked?

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Some security software has virtualization or sandbox features that may cause problems by protecting and restoring files in the Firefox profile folder.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
