Whenever I open a new tab, a Bing search bar appears with advertisements. I cannot find where it is coming from to delete. It is not in my programs list or add-ons. How do I get rid of it.

Could you take a photo from a problem?

Uninstall InternetHelper3.1 10.16.400.12, or any COnduit program from the control panel, use the search reset tool, and delete the hijacking user.js file.

I had the very same problem. I followed a set of instructions found in the Mozilla forum, but to no avail. I then searched Google as follows: "how to eliminate search.conduit.com." I ran that specific search because the words "search.conduit.com" always showed up in the address bar when that pesky "Bing" engine appeared. That search then led me to an article by Internet Security Expert Sean Doyle, entitled "How to remove the Conduit virus..." at "botcrawl.com." I read the article. Quite a few options are provided. I chose to install the free version of CCleaner by Piriform. When I installed and ran the cleaner, I was ultimately able to select a step which I think was referred to as "Analyze." I completed that step and receive a long list of files to be deleted. I did not delete those files, but I went to the left column and selected Tools. I then selected Uninstall. There I found a list of programs including one which was published by Conduit. I selected Uninstall and since then, I have had absolutely no problems. I strongly recommend using the CCleaner by Piriform. I make that recommend because I tried to find and uninstall Conduit without the utility --- by navigating through Windows --- and Conduit did not appear anywhere. Somehow it was hidden from view. The free CCleaner works, and should allow you to "find" and "uninstall" or otherwise delete that yucky redirect program, Conduit. Go Sean Doyle! PS - for good measure, I restarted my PC after the uninstall. Absolutely no problem with the Bing search engine from that point on!!!
